Effective July 5, 2009: Sunday Mass Schedule

9am English and 12pm Spanish

Thank you to the many people who commented on the proposed change in Mass schedule. The vast majority were very supportive of reducing the Sunday morning English Masses to one Mass at 9:00 am. The new schedule will begin on Sunday, July 5. For some families, this change will be inconvenient or cause some hardships.  Patterns for Sunday mornings are often well established around a Mass schedule that have been in place for a long time. These patterns are not easily changed.

One of the motivation for reducing the number of Sunday morning Masses is to allow Msgr. Moore to be available to help in other parishes when needed. The result will be that there will be Sundays when he is not needed outside of Dodge City and may celebrate Mass at the Cathedral. This will not be an indication that there schedule change was unnecessary. It will be the inevitable result of his being available to other parishes on an "as needed" basis.

Stewardship Renewal Forms Have Moved PDF Print E-mail

Dear Parish Family,

To give each member of our Parish Family an opportunity to respond to God's generosity, we have moved the renewal forms to the Stewardship Page of our website. You find the electronic forms as well as forms you can download and print. In addition, the Time and Talent ministry guide (the Blue Book) is available with descriptions of all the ministry opportunities in PDF format.

To all our family members, know that if you have not made a commitment of time, talent, and treasure, your gift is welcome whenever the Spirit moves you. Do stop in often as we will provide opportunities for you to learn how generous and loving our God is and the peace you receive by living a Stewardship Life.

Sincerely,

Eric Haselhorst 620-639-2079 Stewardship Committee Chairman.
