Domino Matching Game
Turn all the dominoes face down in the center. The youngest person playing draws one domino to begin the "train". Lay it down on the table. The person to the left draws a domino. If one end of the domino matches the one on the table, it may be played. If not, the player must keep that domino in their "hand" and may have a chance to play it later. Continue around the group. Plays may be played at either end of the "train" and may turn any way your playing surface allows. Try to use all the dominoes. The last one to play wins.
Domino Addition Game
Place all the dominoes in the middle of the table face down. Players draw one domino at a time, write down an addition number sentence using the number of dots on each side of the domino and complete the equation. The person with the larger answer wins both dominoes. Play continues until all dominoes are used. The child with the most dominoes wins the game. |
