This choir is comprised of anyone who likes to sing four-part music. The Choir sings from September through Pentecost, in May or June. They normally sing on the first and third Sunday of the month at the 10am mass. They rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 7:45 to 8:15pm. This group is a scola consisting of equal voices men and women, singing in four-part harmony. You must be able to sight-read music. This group rehearses on Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 7:45pm and sing the third Sunday of the month at the 10:00am Mass. During the summer months, they sing twice a month. This is a contemporary group, consisting of any instrument and piano plus voices. Instruments of Christ rehearse on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 7:00 to 8:00pm, depending on member's schedules. Sacred Heart Children's Choir| Contact | Brenda Martin 225-1602 |
This choir consists of Sacred Heart students, grades first through eighth. They meet twice a month after school on Monday, from 3:30 to 4:15pm. They sing at a children's Mass at Sacred Heart School and a Cathedral Mass once a month. Spanish Children's Choir| Contact | Carlos Castro 225-6483 |
This choir consists of all ages of Spanish-speaking children. We want to encourage children to begin to participate at a young age so they can participate more fully as adults.
